Conference of Ruler welcome Sultan Muhammad V

The Conference of Ruler hosted by HRH Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah welcomed the new Sultan of Kelantan, HRH Sultan Muhammad V as a full member of the conference. Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah in his speech, pray and gives his hope to the state of Kelantan to be in peace and prosperity and Sultan Muhammad V will rule with fair and justice.

Sultan Sharafuddin represented the Conference of Ruler expressed his sadness over the ailing of Sultan Ismail Petra and pray for the health of the former Sultan.

Yang di-Pertuan Agong (The Supreme Ruler) also gives his consent to present at the meeting accompanied by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak. The Conference of Ruler are convened for two days starting since 13th October 2010 to discussed matters regarding National Defenses, Security, Islam, appointments and the King’s and Governor Education Scholarship.

All State Rulers and Governors present at the meeting accept for Pahang, represented by the Crown Prince of Pahang, Tengku Abdullah ibni Sultan Ahmad Shah; Perak, represented by the Regent, Raja Nazrin Shah ibni Sultan Azlan Shah and Terengganu, represented by Tengku Seri Bendahara Raja, Tengku Mustaffa Kamel.
