His Royal Highness the Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar consent to launch the book of Sejarah Adat Istiadat Diraja Johor, History of the Johor Royal Custom which features the custom practiced in the Sultanate of Johor. The ceremony was held at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Skudai, Johor. The book was published by UTM Press is 295 pages thick, is priced at RM180 and take a year to complete. It is included the work of collecting materials, editing and printing.

In the same ceremony, HRH Sultan Ibrahim also consent to launch the royal perfumed named Sultan Ibrahim Satu (SI 1) and Sultan Ibrahim 2 (SI 2) which is a product specially produce by a group of researchers at Institute of Bio-product Development (IBD) UTM. The Sultan also signed a plate to commemorate the inauguration ceremony of the IBD building.

Also attended the ceremony were the Menteri Besar (Chief Minister) of Johor, Datuk Abdul Ghani bin Othman and the Vice Chancellor of UTM, Datuk Ir. Dr. Zaini Ujang.
