Yasin and Tahlil recitation

HM Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin during the Yasin and Tahlil recitation at the National Mosque in conjunction of the incoming Birthday Celebration of the Supreme Ruler.

His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong (The Supreme Ruler) of Malaysia, Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin gave his consent to attend the ceremony of Yasin and Tahlil recitation. The ceremony was held at the National Mosque in conjunction of the incoming celebration of The Supreme Ruler’s Birthday. The designated Birthday Celebration of the Supreme Ruler was held at the first week of June every year. Also accompany Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin is Her Majesty the Raja Permaisuri Agong (Supreme Queen) of Malaysia, Tuanku Nur Zahirah.

The ceremony started with Maghrib Prayer headed by the Grand Imam of the National Mosque, Tan Sri Syaikh Ismail Muhammad followed by Yasin recitation and Tahlil.

More than 5,000 people are presence in the ceremony including the Deputy Prime Minister and wife, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and Puan Sri Norainee Abd Rahman; Minister at the Prime Minister Department, Datuk Seri Jamil Khir Baharom and his Deputy, Datuk Dr. Mashitah Ibrahim.
