12 received Agong's Scholarship

HM Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin consent to take a commemorative picture with the 12 recipients of Agong's Scholarships

His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong (the Supreme Ruler) of Malaysia, Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin consent to gave away the scholarships to the selected recipients at Istana Negara. The Agong's Scholarship was created by the government in 2006 outstanding Malaysians pursuing studies at the masters and doctorate levels at local and foreign universities. 12 recipients was enlisted to received the scholarship this year.

The 12 recipients of the Agong Scholarships are as follow :-

1. Mohamed Afiq Rahmat, 24, who would study mechanical engineering at the University of Monash, Australia.
2. Mohamad Zulfazli Mohd Sobri, 23, who would study plant science at the University of Manchester, United Kingdom.
3. Chang Sui Kiat, 25, who would study dietary science at Universiti Putra Malaysia.
4. Muhammad Nazmin Yaapar, 24, who would study animal and plant science (biology) at the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom.
5. Rohayu Jusoh, 22, who would study chemical engineering at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
6. Ummi Abdullah, 25, who would study medical biotechnology at the University of Oxford, United Kingdom.

7. Nur Nadiah Mohd Rais, 24, who would study physics and medical engineering at the London University College, United Kingdom.
8. Beh Ching Yew, 24, who would study medical biotechnology at the University of Malaya
9. Nurul'Adni Ahmad Ridzuan, 22, who would study integrated design engineering at the University of Keoi, Japan
10. Nazirah Kamaruzaman, 23, who would study law at the London University College, United Kingdom
11. Abir Abdul Rahim, 23, who would study actuarial science at the City University, United Kingdom

Nur Zareen Zulkarnain, is the youngest recipient of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong's scholarship.
