Pahang State Medal and Honorary Title

The deputy Chief of Police, Datuk Khalid Abu Bakar receives the SSAP from HRH the Sultan Ahmad of Pahang

HRH the Sultan of Pahang, Sultan Ahmad Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Abu Bakar gave his consent to officiate the bestowing ceremony of States Medal and Honorary Titles in conjunction of his birthday celebration. The first in the list of 155 recipients are the Malaysian Deputy Chief of Police, Datuk Khalid Abu Bakar who received the Darjah Sri Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (SSAP) which carries the title ‘Datuk Seri’. Also receives the SSAP are Datuk Mah King Thian, Datuk Iskandar Michael Abdullah and Datuk Tang Ying Lik.

Also presences in the ceremony are HRH the Sultanah of Pahang, Sultanah Kalsom; HRH the Crown Prince of Pahang, Tengku Abdullah ibni Sultan Ahmad Shah and the Menteri Besar (Chief Minister) of Pahang, The Hon Datuk Seri Adnan Yaakob.
