i beg to correct u.....sultan abdullah didn bestow any title on any of his wives as they were all commoners.....thus there was no tengku ampuan during sultan abdullah s reign. as stipulated in the state constitution, the tengku ampuan must be ofroyal birth, a muslim n malay, which explains why sultanah kalsom is not titled tengku ampuan of pahang. i hope my explanation is clear enough....thx

u should also note that the dowager tengku ampuan is known as tengku ampuan besar(followed by name) n the reigning sultans known as tengku ampuan of pahang, the tengku mahkota s wife known as tengku puan pahang....provided they are both born royal to be besowed such titles.

@anonymous ::

Currently, the Sultan of Pahang has 5 grandsons from his two sons, Tengku Mahkota Abdullah and Tengku Muda Abdul Rahman.

They are ;-

i) Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim bin Tengku Abdullah
ii) Tengku Muhammad Iskandar bin Tengku Abdullah
iii) Tengku Ahmad Ismail bin Tengku Abdullah
iv) Tengku Eddie Akasya bin Tengku Abdul Rahman
v) Tengku Ahmad Firman Shah bin Tengku Abdul Rahman

I don't know much about the Sultan's grandson from his princesses.
