His Royal Highness the Sultan of Pahang, Sultan Ahmad Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Abu Bakar and His Royal Highness the Tengku Mahkota (Crown Prince) of Pahang, Tengku Abdullah ibni Sultan Ahmad Shah consent to attend the feast ceremony of Rompin Constituency. In the ceremony, Their Royal Highness-es consent to officiate the closing ceremony of the feast which have been held for two days since Sunday, held at Padang Awam Bandar Tun Razak. Up to 20,000 people attended the feast.

HM Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin consent to shakes hand and say farewell at the farewell ceremony held at Kompleks Tabung Haji

His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong (Supreme Ruler) of Malaysia, Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin consent to attend the farewell ceremony of Malaysian pilgrims before their departure to the holy land of Makkah al-Mukkaramah. The pilgrims comprising 206 men and 241 women on flight 36 are expected to arrive in Medina at 6.50pm (11.50pm Malaysian time). In the ceremony, Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin has urged haj pilgrims to safeguard Malaysia's good image when in the holy land.

He also reminded them to abide the directive of local authorities and regulations of Tabung Haji (TH) to ensure their safety and facilitate the pilgrimage process. Tuanku Mizan also urged pilgrims to take care of their personal hygiene as the surrounding may cause diseases and affect health.

For this year, Tabung Haji has selected 28,000 to perform the hajj in the holy land this year where 38% have departed for Madinah. Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Jamil Khir Baharom said TH has appointed 800 staff to serve pilgrims in Mecca, Medina, Arafat and Jeddah.

77th MAIP Conference

His Royal Highness the Raja Muda (Crown Prince) of Perak, Raja Dr. Nazrin Shah consent to attend the 77th Conference of Majlis Agama Islam dan Adat Melayu Perak (MAIP), Perak State Islamic Religious and Malay Custom Council and Jabatan Agama Islam Perak (JAIP), Perak State Islamic Religious Department held at Kompleks Islam Darul Ridzwan. In the ceremony, the Crown Prince also consent to deliver the letter of appointment to State Financial Officer Datuk Ghazali Jalal as a member of MAIP, replacing Datuk Jamaluddin Al-Amini who has gone on compulsory retirement.

In the event, the Crown Prince addressed to both MAIP and JAIP to to review their programmes towards developing the Muslim community's economy in a sustainable manner. He stated that greater attention should be given to economic activities involving the role of the Perak Islamic Economic Development Corporatision, zakat and Baitulmal, and managing of funds to ensure viability and high impact of every programme implemented.He does not only wanted to see figures on vouchers and receipts audited, but also evaluation of programmes in terms of quality and impact towards achieving the objectives.

In fact, he said, those who came were just obliging the invitations and returned home spiritually unsatiated. Raja Nazrin said MAIP and JAIP needed to take a new approach by giving a new image and contents to the programmes to be organised in 2012. He said the contents and venues for the programmes should be planned early and carefully and after approval by the committee, be presented to him for his views and consent, especially on the financial implications.

The MAIP conference also recorded its condolences to the Raja Kecil Besar of Perak, Raja Iskandar Dzulkarnain Sultan Idris Shah, on the demise of his mother, Raja Perempuan Muzwin, on October 6.

His Royal Highness the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah finally made an official statement regarding the JAIS's inspection at DUMC. In the statement, His Royal Highness stated that he was satisfied to find that the Jabatan Agama Islam Selangor (JAIS), State Islamic Religious Department had acted rightly and within its jurisdiction when carrying out investigation at the Dream Center in Petaling Jaya on August 3.

Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah said he had studied the JAIS report on the investigation conducted during a thanksgiving dinner at the church premises and after obtaining advice from religious and legal experts, he agreed that no legal action be taken against any quarters. The Sultan said JAIS' jurisdiction was provided under the Selangor Syariah Criminal Procedure Enactment 2003, Selangor Syariah Criminal Enactment 1995 and Selangor Non-Islamic Religion (Control of Propagation Among Muslims) Enactment 1988.

Sultan Sharafuddin also instructed JAIS to provide counselling to the Muslims who attended the dinner function so as to restore their faith and belief in Islam. He also asked JAIS to carry out Islamic propagation activities for Muslims with more frequency and systematically to ensure their faith in Islam would prevail and deepen. Sultan Sharafuddin said as head of religion in Selangor, he was concerned and hurt by the efforts of certain quarters to weaken the faith of Muslims in Islam.

Sultan Sharafuddin said Islam as practised in Selangor was tolerant and Muslims were always encouraged to respect other religions. The Sultan also noted that Article XLVII of the Selangor State Constitution 1959, Clause (1) of Article 3 and Clause (1) of Article 11 in the Federal Constitution provide the freedom for people of other faiths to practise their religion in peace.

HM Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin delivered the trophy to Wipawan Pawitalayarp

Thais woman rider from The Horses Team, Wipawan Pawitalayarp won the Horse Endurance Championship of Sultan Mizan Cup 2011 held at Terengganu International Endurance Park at Lembah Bidong. The 37-year old rider emerged as victorious defeating other 69 participants in the 120km race with a time of 6 Hours 17 minutes and 43 seconds. As the winner, Wipawan receives the Challenge Trophy, RM63,000 cash and a AmaSwiss watch worth of RM54,000.

The trophy was given by His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong (Supreme Ruler) of Malaysia, Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin. Also present at the ceremony were Her Majesty the Raja Permaisuri Agong (Supreme Queen) of Malaysia, Tuanku Nur Zahirah and the Menteri Besar of Terengganu and wife, Datuk Ahmad bin Said and Toh Puan Norliza binti Mahmud.

The second until the fifth place is as follow :-
  • Muhammad Fuad bin Hashim (6 : 29 : 17s) from State of Terengganu Endurance Team. He received RM44,000 and an addition of RM18,000 for the Best Horse category.
  • Zelma Lotter (7 : 02 : 35s) from Tengku Mahkota Kelantan Endurance Team. Received RM32,000.
  • Warit Khuntarhponrn from The Horses. Received RM18,000.
  • Mohd Sulaiman bin Muda from Royal Terengganu Endurance Stable. Received RM12,000.

HRH Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin and HRH Tuanku Fauziah consent to read the picture book of Masjid Al-Hussain in the inauguration ceremony

His Royal Highness the Raja of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Putra Jamalullail consent to officiate the inauguration ceremony of Al-Hussain Floating Masjid at Kuala Perlis. The new floating masjid is currently the 104th Masjid in Perlis becoming the new landmark of the state. The construction of the Masjid cost about RM12 mill. can accommodate up to 1,000 jamaah. The construction of the Masjid was sponsored by businessman, Tan Sri Mohd Ariffin bin Yusoff and his family.

The Masjid is located at the creek of Perlis River, which is the main route for tourists to go to Langkawi Island.The Masjid is equipped with twin minarets that will flash a light every Prayer Time at night. A blue light symbolizes the Subuh and Maghrib prayer, while green symbolizes an Isya' prayer. No light will be on for Zuhur and Asar prayer.

Sultan Mizan Cup 2011

His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong (Supreme Ruler) of Malaysia, Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin leading the horse endurance challenge of 120 km in the Sultan Mizan Cup 2011. The Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin compete with other 69 participants in the challenge riding the 'RTES Smith' represented the Royal Terengganu Endurance Stable (RTES).

The starting event was officiate by the Menteri Besar of Terengganu, Datuk Seri Ahmad bin Said. Also present at the ceremony was Her Majesty the Raja Permaisuri Agong (Supreme Queen) of Malaysia, Tuanku Nur Zahirah.

The 120km races has a time limits of 12 hours and divided into 6 checkpoints.
  • 1st Checkpoint : 30km
  • 2nd Checkpoint : 25km
  • 3rd Checkpoint : 20km
  • 4th Checkpoint : 25km
  • 5th Checkpoint : 25km
  • Last Checkpoint : 20km
266 recipients were enlisted to receive the Melaka State Honorary Medal, Titles and Awards in conjunction of the 73rd Birthday Celebration of His Excellency the Yang Dipertua Negeri (Head of State) of Melaka, Tun Mohd. Khalil Yaakob in the first session ceremony. The first in the list is the Works Minister, Datuk Seri Shaziman bin Abu Mansor who been conferred the award of Darjah Gemilang Seri Melaka (DGSM), which carries the title 'Datuk Seri'.

In the same ceremony, His Excellency Tun Mohd Khalil also consent to confer the award to the late Cameraman of BernamaTV, Allahyarham Noramfaizul Mohd Nor who died while covering a report in Somalia on last September 2, 2011. He is the first ever person to be conferred with the award of Bintang Gagah Perwira (BGP) since the title was introduced in 1978. The award was received by his wife, Norazrina binti Jaafar.

Another 431 recipients will be conferred in the second session of the ceremony today.

Her Royal Highness the Raja Perempuan Muzwin of Perak, died at Institut Jantung Negara (IJN) at 4.30 pm. After her death, her body was brought to her residence prior to her death at Riswin Palace for funeral ceremony, and for the closest family members and royalty to pay their last respect to the former Queen. Her body arrived at Riswin Palace at 00.00 am on Friday night.

The time to pay the last respect to the late Queen ended at 2.30 pm. Later, the body of the late Queen was brought to Kuala Kangsar so the Royal Funeral Ceremony can be start. First, the late Queen was brought to Dewan Sultan Idris or also know as Dewan Orang Ramai Bukit Chandan. It is to put the body of the late Queen onto a special royal cart named Seraja Diraja and the Queen was carried according to Perak Customary Practices to Masjid Ubuddiah for funeral prayer.

After Asar Prayer, the burial procession takes place at Al-Ghufran Royal Mausoleum just beside the Masjid Ubudiah. The body of Almarhumah Raja Perempuan Muzwin was buried besides the tomb of her late husband, Sultan Idris Shah II Marhum Afifullah.

Her Royal Highness the Raja Perempuan Muzwin of Perak, died at Institut Jantung Negara (IJN) around 4.20 pm on 6th October 2011. The late Queen will be put to rest at Al-Ghufran Royal Mousaleum, Kuala Kangsar after Asar prayer today. The Riswin Palace however did not stated how long did the late Queen suffered from illness

HRH Raja Perempuan Muzwin was a member of Perakian Royal Family and a daughter of Raja Arif Shah bin Raja Harun Ar-Rashid. She was born on 1st March 1929. She was installed and crowned as the 'Raja Perempuan' (Queen Consort) of Perak on 26th October 1963 by her husband, Almarhum Sultan Idris Shah II. Her marriage to Sultan Idris Shah II produced 4 children, 2 princes and 2 princesses. They are :-
  1. Her Highness Raja Nadzatul Shima, the Raja Puan Mahkota of Perak
  2. Her Royal Highness Tuanku Raja Zarith Sofia, Consort of the Sultan of Johor
  3. His Royal Highness Raja Iskandar Zulkarnain, the Raja Kechil Besar of Perak
  4. His Highness Raja Jamil Ariffin

May her soul will be blessed by Allah :-
