Burj Khalifa Opening Ceremony

The tallest building in the world officially opened. With the height of 828 meters, the Burj Dubai officially opened with a different name, the Burj Khalifa. The name honoring the President of UAE, Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan who injected a financial aid to Dubai economy.

The tower also housed the world’s first tower residential space and the highest mosque at 158th floor.
