HRH Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah open the new Syariah Judiciary Department building

His Royal Highness the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah consent to officiate the new Syariah Judiciary Department building in Jalan Masjid, Seksyen 5, Shah Alam. In the ceremony, the Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah signed the plate and knock the ceremonial inauguration hammer and announce the new building open.

In his speech, the Sultan Sharafuddin stated that the Syariah Court should be seen as an institution of integrity and high quality in effort to build public confidence and trust. Hence, he said Syariah Court personnel, particularly syarie judges should equip themselves with knowledge in various disciplines in the face of mounting challenges so that public confidence in Syariah Court would not dissipate.
