The New Champion

A new history was made this year after the Red Warrior finally succeeds to win the Malaysia Cup and become the new champion. This is the first time Kelantan ever win the game. Previously, Kelantan manage to get into the final in 1955, 1970 and 2009, but lost. Nevertheless, Kelantanese Team finally manages to repent all of that after winning the game 2 – 1 against Negeri Sembilan.
It is an interesting fact for 2009 and 2010 winner. Negeri Sembilan won the game in 2009 after Tuanku Muhriz was proclaimed as their new King. And in 2010, Kelantan wins the game after Sultan Muhammad V was proclaimed as the new Sultan of Kelantan.
Well Done Kelantan.
(Hmm.. hoping that Johor FA and Johor FC will wins the Malaysia Cup in the future…)

Assalamualaikum and Peace be upon all of you.
Welcome to my blog.
Good Morning to all followers, visitors and my fellow blogwalkers. Today is just another shiny day. Nothing important to do, just spending my time surfing the internet and have a chat with some of my colleges. Recently, Prime Minister of Malaysia, Datuk Seri Najib Razak has announced or rather noted the development of 100-storeys Menara Warisan Merdeka located at Kuala Lumpur, not too far from Stadium Merdeka. The cost is RM5 bil and it will takes about around 5 to 10 years to complete. So, if the project succeeds, Menara Warisan probably the first place for our any Prime Minister to announce the proclamation of “Malaysia Maju 2020”.
And, just like its predecessor, the Petronas Twin Tower, it is widely opposed by the opposition. Well, lets us stay the politicians out of this discussion; let’s see what the people have to said. For the younger generation of Malaysia, the easiest method to do this is by Facebook. What they have to say?
The Pro ; (Kami Sokong Menara Warisan)
The Pro group called themselves as “We support the Warisan Tower”. Among the highly noted phrases was taken from Prime Minister Najib, stating that the tower is not a waste but it is intended to boost the Malaysian economy, and also as a new landmark for a new develop Malaysia.
Up until this article was written, the group manages to attract 2,269 Supporters.

The contra ; (1M Malaysians Reject 100-storey Mega Tower)
The contra group called themselves as “1M Malaysians Reject 100-storey Mega Tower”. Among the highly noted phrases is a cynical or sarcastic noted from Ng Yen Yen who stated, “Everybody wants the tallest tower, so, why should we hold back?” The groups aim to shows the government that Malaysia did not need a new skyscraper and the money should be allocate to improves education, health care, public transportation, safer neighborhood and cleaner water.
Up until now, the group succeeds to reach its former targets of 200,000 supporters and currently have 203,353 supporters in just 8 days.

For me, I personally stated that we do not need a new skyscraper. Why? Building a skyscraper is an expensive project. Did we did not learn anything from the Dubai crisis? Their development of Mega or should I say, Giga/Tera Project actually put them into debt burden. And, what did actually befall to Burj Khalifa this day? Out of 900 apartments, 825 are still empty. The cost to maintain the building is around A$8 mil (Australian Dolar).
So, here I only have one thing to ask..

UMNO and PAS

Assalamualaikum and Peace be upon all of you
Welcome to my blog
It has been a long time since the last time I post an article regarding politics in my blog. Don’t get me wrong, this is not a politics portal and I don’t have any intentions to change this blog into one. The only reason I do it is because I just wants to share my intentions and thoughts after the ended of UMNO General Assembly. In not so distance future, two by-elections will be held at Batu Sapi Parliamentary Seating and Galas State Assembly Seating. We have two political alliances National Front and People’s Pact, housing numbers of political parties. But, these two parties usually never fail to get my intentions, UMNO and PAS. And up until now, these two parties is the only party that I will cast my vote too. (Nevertheless, your vote is a secret… huhuhu…)
UMNO (United Malay National Organization)
The history of UMNO is divided into two parts, The Old and New UMNO. New UMNO is founded by the Prime Minister of Malaysia at that time, Datuk Seri Mahathir Mohamad on 11th February 1988, with a new party greatly resemblance to the former one, the old UMNO. The old UMNO which been established on 11th May 1946 at Istana Besar Johor Bahru has been declared unlawful by Justice Datuk Harun Hashim under Societies Act of 1966 on 4th February 1988 (due to existence of several unregistered branches). Later, the suffix “Baru (New)” at the new UMNO was dropped and UMNO (baru) became the de facto and de jure successor of UMNO (with the old UMNO’s asset handed over).
Since Malayan General Elections in 1955, UMNO has been an alliance to both MCA and MIC up to date. Currently, UMNO is the de facto leader of National Front, coalition consists of 13 political parties. The incumbent leader of UMNO is Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak. All Prime Ministers of Malaysia to date is from UMNO. Johor is one of the strongholds of UMNO.
The UMNO General Assembly 2010 :-
PAS (Parti Islam Se-Malaysia)
It is not perfect to speak about UMNO if we forgot about PAS. The history of PAS (Parti Islam Se-Malaysia) shares many similarities with UMNO, as it is originally the Ulama’ wings of UMNO. Later, after the party’s constitution amendment, it’s participating in the first General Election in 1955 and won 1 seat. PAS currently is the most senior opposition party exists in Malaysia. It is founded by 4th April 1956 as Pan-Malayan Islamic Party (PMIP). Later, in the time of Asri Muda, the party’s name change to Parti Islam Se-Malaysia (PAS) and known as Islamic Party of Malaysia in English rather than its previous name.
Similar to UMNO, the party is the first party in the history of Malaysia to defeat the ruling National Front and alliances in state level. PAS has associated itself to many political alliances, namely Barisan Nasional, Gagasan Rakyat, Barisan Alternatif and the most success up to date, Pakatan Rakyat. Even though have a parliamentary seats lower than DAP and PKR, it is undoubtedly the most dominant political party in Pakatan Rakyat. The party's stronghold is Kelantan.
The Muktamar PAS 2010:-
Conclusion
Hmm.. nothing to say for the moment.. Only i want to make a suggestion, how about make a live telecast at PAS's Muktamar? Huhu..
See ya later..
