Elia Suhana lost her rights
Second wife of Sultan Ismail Petra, Elia Suhana Ahmad, lost her rights to visits her husband after Sharia High Court accepts the preliminary objection filed by Raja Perempuan Tengku Anis Tengku Abd Hamid. Magistrate Muhammad Yusoff Awang agrees with the application of the first wife of Sultan Ismail Petra regarding the visiting rights received by Elia Suhana on 4th February. In the case, Tengku Anis is represented by Sharia Lawyers, Zainul Rijal Abu Bakar and Abdul Halim Bahri.
The courts has made a decision that Elia Suhana has lost her rights to visits the Sultan in Singapore because it is outside of Shariah Courts jurisdictions. The Shariah Courts order only applicable in any state outside Kelantan but must be in Malaysian territory.
