First of all, thank you for your comment in t...@AA

First of all, thank you for your comment in the blog. Regarding Tengku Zubaidah, I did not aware of the existence of Jambu Royalty. So I will check later about it.

Secondly, about the line of succession, I have checked it beforehand, all states with exception of Negeri Sembilan and Perak only stated that the throne shall be succeed by the sons of the king, preceded by his brothers, uncles and their male descendant. The line of succession in accordingly unless the State's Royal Council of Succession says otherwise. In other word, the line of succession is applicable unless the council chooses not to do so.

In Perak, those who in the line of succession need to be appointed by the Sultan. While in Negeri Sembilan, no direct heir apparent as the 4 inheritance prince has equal standing.Radin87https://www.blogger.com/profile/00014628373439699317noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8530780890084640402.post-76535112263532867202013-06-17T14:42:53.738+08:002013-06-17T14:42:53.738+08:00There were errors in your posting. First, The HH Tengku Zubaidah binti Tengku Norudin (for royal wife of the current HRH the Sultan of Kelantan)is not a member of Pattani Royal Family instead she is from Jambu Royal Family. Jambu is a principality state in southern part of Thailand. Jambu and Pattani has no family ties. Second, in Kelantan (and all other Malay states in Peninsular Malaysia), the sultante have not practice a system/law that determine the exact line of succession. They only install a crown prince as the heir apparent to the throne. Other than the Crown Prince, other princes of the state has almost equal standing, with sons of the reigning sultan take precedence to the others. The Royal Council (in Kelantan, it is called Majlis Perajaan Negeri) is the sole ruling body under the constitution determines the next sultan of the state.AAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13442186925990561211noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8530780890084640402.post-78864426232556503862012-04-15T21:15:51.970+08:002012-04-15T21:15:51.970+08:00http://www.theedgemalaysia.com/index.php?option=co...http://www.theedgemalaysia.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=155848&Itemid=77Radin87https://www.blogger.com/profile/00014628373439699317noreply@blogger.com
